Loving Yourself.

Hi there :) So, I've realized I haven't posted in ages, so I decided to come back with another post. This time, I've decided to do another motivational post. I think there's never enough hope in this world, and there probably never will be, so there's nothing wrong with throwing some hope out there.
Today, I wanted to do a post about self- confidence. In this modern day and age, all everyone wants is perfection. Perfection, perfection, perfection. And why? The truth we will never know. The fact is, since the beginning of time, people have thought of mistakes, and flaws, as something bad, rather than something good.
People struggle with so many things in their lives, whether it be something apparent, or something you'd have never thought, just by looking at the person or even just by having a short conversation with a person. People deal with weight issues, family issues, health issues, mental issues, personal issues, etc., and before we judge people or even ourselves, we need to really dig down to the roots of the situation.
That chubby girl in gym class...maybe she's asthmatic. Maybe the reason she can't lose the weight is because when she tries, she can't breathe. Maybe she's just smart enough to know that she's better off big than in the hospital because her lungs have failed her.
That peppy girl who annoys the living daylight out of you...maybe she's trying to use positivity to get through a problem in her life. Maybe if you took the time to get to know her, you'd see that she's a poor soul, one who can't appreciate herself. One who feels lost and alone, and just needs a hand to reach out and pull her up.
And most importantly, the one opposite you. The one who's flaws and imperfections shine brighter than those of anyone else. Her hips jut out. Her eyebrows are too bushy. There's a zit on the tip of her nose. I'm talking about the one who's staring right at you in the mirror. I'm talking about you. We all have those days, where we feel upset, down, like there's nothing and no one in the world who can make you feel better. In those times, we need to be reflective. In the privacy of your own space, everything hits us. Everything we hate, everything we love, everything we want to build on.
I know that I don't know you personally, but you are a beautiful person. You embody someone amazing. No matter what you look like, chubby, skinny, tall, short, curvy, skimpy, etc., remember that to someone else, you might be the image of perfection. You may be exactly what someone else aims to be.
So, the next time you're feeling down, or sad, or like you mean nothing, think about this. Someone in the world feels the way you do. Someone understands your pains and trials. The saying "pay it forward" is not only applicable to doing someone kind directly to someone else. By putting a smile on your face, and being strong, not only can you feel great about yourself, but you can make someone feel amazing and hopeful too. Love yourself, no matter what, and please, don't let anyone get you down.

Bye for now :)
