Fall Boots are Making a Come-Back!
Hi there! So school is just around the corner, which I think we can all agree, kind of really sucks, but on the bright side...that also means that Fall is on it's way! I know, it's kind of a bitter sweet feeling, so I tried to drown my sorrows with some good 'ole retail therapy. Although actually is was more of an online retail therapy session. Not to mention that I didn't actually buy anything.
Anyway, last year, the one item that I'd been absolutely craving was a nice, "purdy" pair of combat boots. This year I've been determined to get them, so in preparation I've been searching online for boots that might interest me. I was actually pleasantly surprised which the great deals I found, and although I'm not really an online shopper (I just prefer to pay for something and have it in hand right away), I thought it might be nice to share them :)
These boots were actually a really random find but I think if someone could be in love with item of clothing, I would be in love with these. Okay, so maybe that's kind of an overstatement, but really these boots are absolutely my style. Although some people may find the pattern sewn on the inside of the shoe slightly odd and possibly even distracting, I think it adds a special flare to the boots that I personally really like. Fair-Isle Lined Fold-Over Combat Boots (Charlotte Russe)- $25
When I saw these boots out last fall, I really wanted to get my hands on a pair and honestly, I still do. The only way I can think to describe this boot is that it's made out of a suede type of material. Not only are these boots brilliant for fall, they'll also keep you super warm during winter as they are lined with a wool type of layer to keep your feet nice and toasty once the weather starts getting cold. Boots (H&M)-$39.95

Timberlands, anyone? It might just be me, but these boots definitely look Timberland inspired. And guess what? They're a steal of a deal at only approximately a fifth of the price of a regular pair of Timberland boots. While real pairs can rack up to about $100 to $150, these Wet Seal knock-offs are only $32.90. These are perfect for anyone who's outdoorsy...or (let's face it) anyone who wants to act like they're outdoorsy. Short Lace-Up Outdoors Boots (Wet Seal)- $32.90
Returning to H&M for the second time, I found these, again of pair of knock-offs. These leathery lace-ups continue to remind me of Dr. Martens boots. I do see the difference, the definitely aren't replicas, but these H&M booties are about the most accurate thing you're going to get for only $39.95. These sturdy (and slightly bulky) boots are always big during the fall season, so grabbing a pair of these definitely won't hurt your reputation. Boots (H&M)- $39.95
And last but not least...floral shoes. What? Floral shoes. Yes, you read correctly. Now, I know what you might be thinking. Probably something along the lines of "this looks like a mess, not even a hot mess" or "is this a joke?". Although this print is bold, it's a risk. In my opinion, fall (being the start of the school year and all) is all about taking risks, stepping out of your comfort zone, and really trying some new things. Remember that when you start your classes this year...whether you're in high school, elementary school, middle school, or college, don't be afraid to put yourself out there. You'll never know what works for you unless you try it, so remember to keep an open mind as you walk into school on your first day, and enjoy this school year! Floral Print Fabric Lace-Up Boots (Charlotte Russe)- $25
Thanks for reading this post! Have a great day,
Sarah :)

Every now and then, I enjoy looking around on Forever 21's online store, most likely because I've never shopped at a Forever 21 in my life. Thankfully we're finally getting a Forever 21 in my local mall this fall, just in time for the cute fall fashions to start flowing in. While I was snooping around on the website, I found these pair of lace up booties which I thought were absolutely perfect. I don't know about you, but I wear a lot of leggings during the fall time, as well as a lot of darker colours, so having a pair of boots like these would be a perfect addition to my fall closet, and I'm a sure to a lot of yours too. The ones pictured here are in the mustard yellow colour but if bold and kind of quirky colours aren't really your style, you can also get them in brown. Faux Leather Hiking Booties (Forever 21)- $39.80
Now of course my online retail therapy must always include at least brief browse through of the Aero website, and just look at what I stumbled upon. I must admit, these boots aren't necessarily my style, but I definitely think they'd be perfect for someone else. After all they're literally called the Perf Combat Boot. I know, it's a little vain sounding, right, but I promise these boots are nothing short of special. Just like the previous ones, they come in brown too, so don't worry, you have options in terms of colour! Also, side note, I think these combat boots would like great with a pair of coloured socks, as you'd be able to see just a tad bit of colour through the small holes in the side of the shoe.
